Description

A 30 minutes session to ground and expand your relational-self: exploring the layers of your embodiment. Through awareness of breathing from your inside out, within cycles of stillness and movement, I invite you to create spaciousness by allowing sensations to be felt and expressed.

Intructor's Bio

Amélie Gaulier (she/her) lives in Lenape-​Canarsie ​indigeneous ​land, Brooklyn based, her native country is France. Body-Mind Centering® practitioner, Somatic Movement therapist and mindfulness instructor and facilitator with MNDFL. She is Registered Professional Somatic Movement Therapist member of ISMETA; and currently studying Body-Mind Psychotherapy with Susan Aposhyan. As a somatic artist, she has been teaching improvisation through movement, voice, and imagination to children and adults for 14 years. Amélie recently completed a Masters Research Degree at the INSPE/UPEC, National Institute of Professorship and Education in Paris; her research focuses on enactive pedagogy and embodied cognition.  Her ongoing healing processes is teaching her how to support weaving somatic(s) and contemplative approaches to carve out a path of care and deep listening. And furthermore to foster understanding of how embodiment practices, art and activism and social transformation relate and intersect.”.
