Learning Together
The BMC® and IDME program in Bratislava started in 2008. Walburga Glatz, Anka Sedlačkovà, and Angelika Kováčová – founders of the program – will first briefly introduce its history and the specific emphasis on IDME. They will focus on various applications of the work with children within the range of normal development and children with special needs.
The second part of the presentation will be focusing on the format of Play Sessions for babies, small children and their parents. These sessions are designed as a space for "learning together" and exploring developmental movement for both the children and their parents. Presenters will show some videos from these Play Sessions and share their perspectives, ideas and experiences. The presentation is meant to open a space for practicing ongoing observation as an important tool for shared learning.
