The Architecture Field Regulation
of the Fascia System

This BMC® presentation aims to explore and access the potentiality of the fascial system. Addressing some of the experimental practice of the architecture of the fascial system and their interconnected network of the human body. We will explore the potentiality aspect of the tensegrity and adaptation aspect of the soft fibrous connective tissues that affect not only locally but also globally the movement. In this bodywork we try to dialog between the connected architecture and the continuity field and regulation of the tissue tonus.

Bio

Dr. Adriana Almeida Pees, since 2027, has been artistic director and dance curator in the dance department at the Freiburg Theater and artistic director of the Germany Dance Platform 2024, as well as a jury member for national and international activities. She is a dancer, dance scholar, choreographer, cultural producer and curator. As a Body-Mind Centering® (BMC) teacher, practitioner and Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME), she has been leading the BMC training program in Brazil since 2009 and in Uruguay since 2015. She is also a master trainer in Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis®, Ladder® 1 & 2 and Jumping Slidding Board®, as well as Structural Bodyworker Anatomy Trains by Thomas Meyer, Brain Gym 1-2 and a craniosacral therapist.
