Lisa offers an embodied experience of asana, breath, and movement. Her approach explores the many layers of our form, the deepening of awareness through ongoing inquiry into the body, and a developmental approach to movement and sequencing. Her classes offer a deeply satisfying journey into self, and body mind consciousness. Her classes bring a fresh perspective to the practice and teaching of yoga, and offer on going growth and development both personally and professionally.
No prior experience with yoga is necessary.
For class you will need:
– space to lie and spread out on the floor
– the following yoga props are suggested: yoga blankets, blocks, bolster, chair, strap, yoga mat.
– Soft inflatable 10” Gerti or Coregeous ball.
Lisa Clark is Education Director of the School For Body-Mind Centering® Yoga Immersion Series. She is one of the leading innovators of the integration of Yoga and Body-Mind Centering®, actively engaged in the training, teaching, and development of this form over 38 years. She began her studies of BMC℠ in 1984, and has worked directly with her teacher Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen for four decades.
Lisa has taught hundreds of students around the world, her in-person workshops and advanced training programs have been taught internationally at studios throughout the United States, Europe, China, Taiwan, and South America. Her online platform Lisa Clark Yoga offers live and recorded classes, in-depth workshops, and trainings. Lisa is also Co-Educational Director of the Taiwan BMC℠ Somatic Movement Education Program, which begins summer 2022.
Lisa, is ERYT500 with Yoga Alliance, a registered International Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist, and a certified Body-Mind Centering® Teacher.
