Sara K. Vogeler, "Fabulous over 50!," founded The NeuroMuscular Center, Inc., in 1990 dedicated to natural pain relief for a powerful body and peaceful mind. She has been a Certified Teacher of BMC since the formal training began, and started studying with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen in 1973. She uses her other trainings to help inform her techniques as a Certified Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist, an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, a TMJ Specialist, and an ISMETA-Registered Movement Therapist. She graduated from NYU in Dance Therapy and danced professionally in the U.S. and in Europe while studying pre-med and many hands-on therapies.
Sara served as President of ISMETA and the Body-Mind Centering Association which she co-founded in 1985. She later founded The NeuroMuscular Center, Inc. in 1990 where she works one-on-one with people suffering with joint and muscle pain, sports injuries, and movement disabilities, along with teaching Sunday seminars monthly. She offers natural pain relief for a powerful body and peaceful mind, desiring for all to be “Fabulous over and under 50!”
In practice over 45 years, Sara’s clients have included people from all walks of life, and all ages, including newborns. She has worked with Mary Tyler Moore, Donna Karan, Bette Midler, Penny Marshall, Lou Gossett, Jr., Tony Robbins, Dudjom Rinpoche, Olympic athletes, and more. Sara also works with brain injuries, special needs kids, sports injuries, anyone in pain, and those with movement disorders such as MS, ALS, Parkinsons.
