Gain Strength, Clarity and Ease. Clarify Pelvis Alignment & Movement Relationships  with your Spine, Trunk, Limbs and Head. 

Explore applications for specific daily activities with senior Feldenkrais Method® and Body-Mind Centering® teacher Marghe Mills-Thysen. 

BASED on the DEVELOPMENTAL FOUNDATIONS of all human movement this series taps participants' own recognition of improved organization. 

Becoming more aware of how we use our selves, we can clarify our choices and our intentions to act more effectively and joyfully in our lives.Integrate more comfortable, supportive and effective patterns into your daily life activities, and discover yourself moving with greater awareness, fluidity, safety, ease and strength.

Intructor's Bio

MARGHE MILLS-THYSEN began working and studying with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen in the 1960’s. She is co-author with Bonnie of Developmental Movement Therapy, a senior certified BMC® teacher and IDME graduate. In the 1980’s Marghe trained with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and was the first practitioner to be certified in both BMC® and The Feldenkrais Method®. She is a creator of Feldenkrais Method® audio lessons and co-creator and graphic artist for the video “Strengthening Your Immune System Through Mind & Movement"®. Her anatomical drawings illustrate Bonnie’s interviews in Contact Quarterly, appear in Sensing Feeling and Action, in Martha Eddy’s Mindful Movement and her Dynamic Embodiment of the Sun Salutation with Shakti Smith, and in Susan Bauer’s The Embodied Teen.

With over 50 years' experience working with adults and children, Marghe has been in private practice and taught nationally at hospitals, somatic trainings, universities, community centers, clinics, yoga and fitness centers. She holds a Masters degree in Education from Lesley University and Certification in Creative Arts Therapies. 

Marghe's background includes dance, acting, directing, illustration and teaching. She trained at NYU's Department of Physical Therapy, and with John Upledger, Suzuki Roshi, Yamada Sensei, and Pierre Pannetier. Marghe currently maintains a private zoom practice from Sebastopol, California and teaches through the local Senior Center and the Community Cultural Center.
