Description

This workshop is open to anybody with a dance practice or an interest in BMC® and movement. The workshop is complementary to the somatic education and practitioner program. In this workshop we dedicate the time to the discovery of the BMC® material and its integration in the body and the application in dance.

From the tools of the BMC®, we explore how touch leads to qualities of the body and to different qualities of dance. We will have a practice in a more static and more dynamic way through touch and in movement. In this case the partner works directly on the person who moves and we see the processing and the quality of dance appearing gradually.

We will travel deep intero- and exteroceptive, speaking and moving. We name what we feel of our internal landscape in the movement, what we see, what we understand and what we touch.

How does it influences the dance?

Open class on February 22 at at 6pm
