This workshop recognises the intimacy of touch through the reciprocity of meeting and engaging with an|other through the porous boundary of our skin. Touch can support the realisation of our potential as well as provide one of our most satisfying life|healing experiences. This workshop will help you develop discernment and trust in your somatic responses enabling you to find your voice. We will cultivate a space of respectful learning that strengthens agency and restores trust.

Alice Cummins MA, is a dance artist, Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Registered Somatic Movement Educator (ISMETA). She has been researching and teaching her work nationally and internationally for over twenty years. Alice's residential program Somatic Wisdom is an ISMETA Approved Training Program enabling her students to become Registered Somatic Movement Educators & Therapists (RSME/T).

Alice creates at the intersection of dance, philosophy and social action. Her practice involves creating environments where sources of intelligence, organization and creativity emerge from and engage with the somatic. Her work is informed by improvisation practices, feminist philosophy and Body-Mind Centering® and her writing has been published in the United States and Australia.
