Embodying Fat as the Ground of Fluid Strength, Sensuous Freedom, and Clarity in Lightness
In this workshop, we will invite the consciousness of our fat to be expressed. Fat, as the largest endocrine organ, affects the mobility and strength of the whole body. It intricately weaves with fascia – the fascia providing the linear connectivity and the fat providing the power.
By engaging the fat cells in the pit of the pelvis through breathing, moving, and sounding, we can greatly increase our core strength, stability, and mobility. As this enlivened fat spreads through the body, it can bring a vitality and freedom of movement, a sense of lightness and clarity of consciousness, and a fuller acceptance of self.
Please join us in this fun and welcoming exploration of this long and most repressed tissue in our bodies.
